
Carsie A. Hall, III, PhD, CEM, CIAQP

Dr. Hall has performed energy audits on residential, commercial, and institutional buildings for over 10 years. His expertise is in all aspects of energy
management, including HVAC, lighting, building envelope, and domestic hot water systems. He has extensive experience in developing energy
management programs for residential, commercial, and institutional building owners and managers. He has taught workshops on energy management
domestically and internationally. Dr. Hall is certified in energy management, indoor air quality, and home energy ratings (HERS). He has performed many
indoor air quality investigations on institutional buildings, commercial buildings, and residences. As a RESNET-certified HERS rater and green rater, he has
performed ENERGY STAR and LEED for Homes verification and certification for single-family and multi-family homes in post-Katrina New Orleans. He
has also performed building energy use modeling for tax credits/deductions and LEED for New Construction certification.
Dr. Hall has experience in designing and optimizing pipe flow distribution networks for domestic, chilled water, hot water, and steam flow systems. He also
has experience in developing analytical tools for rapid detection of water, oil, and gas leaks in pipelines.
Dr. Hall is also an associate professor of mechanical engineering at the University of New Orleans where he has taught courses in fluid mechanics,
thermodynamics, heat transfer, energy management, and HVAC design for 11 years.
L. Faye Grimsley, PhD, CIH

Dr. Grimsley is a certified industrial hygienist (CIH) with more than 15 years of experience. Prior to pursuing her doctoral studies, she worked in private
industry for 7 years. She spent 4 years with Texaco Inc. as an industrial hygienist and 3 years with International Paper as a senior process industrial
hygienist. Her research interests include indoor air quality, bioaerosols, and exposure assessment, with a particular interest in exposure characterization
and control of indoor allergens, bacteria, mold, and the toxins they produce. She is an assistant professor in the School of Public Health and Tropical
Medicine at Tulane University.
Byron Landry
Independent Contractor Associate / Senior Building Engineer
Mr. Landry has 25 years of experience in residential and commercial building inspection. His experience includes all aspects of buildings, including
electrical, plumbing, HVAC, building envelope, and fire & safety systems.
